The Gorilla Foundation invites
you to celebrate gorillas . . .


as a part of this year’s Endangered Species Day, and to play your part in protecting
this amazing species! With the status of gorillas deteriorating to critically endangered,
it is more important than ever to understand how we can help to protect this fragile
species. We encourage kids of all ages to celebrate gorillas with your friends, family,
and neighbors. Explore our list of activities, or better yet, create your own!
However you choose to celebrate gorillas, please share (see How to Submit ... below).

Write poems about gorillas in Africa, a gorilla you met at the zoo, or of Koko and her kitten. Use your creativity to share what you have learned about gorillas!
