Koko generally speaks to the people who work at The Gorilla Foundation. But recently, she was the star of the first human-animal chat on the Internet. More than 20,000 people connected to the Internet to talk with her! Koko's teacher, Dr. Penny Patterson, used sign language and spoken English to relay their questions.
