Queen for a Day (her Birth-day)

Koko doesn’t usually wear a crown; but on her birthday we make an exception and let her flaunt her status as a very special gorilla.

This doesn’t mean that Koko’s a “unique” gorilla (just look at Michael, or Ndume or practically any gorilla who has been given the opportunity to express themselves to humans), but it does mean that Koko is a gorilla who is very much loved, admired and appreciated for all she’s doing to help gorillas and teach humans.
