Dear Friend,

This weekโ€™s video highlights gorillas as powerful, agile movers.

First Ndume secures his food on the first try with a precise leap, showing balance, strength, and timing.

Then, in a different kind of athletic movement, Koko spins with excitement when I return after being away, reminding us that movement can also express emotion.

Together, these scenes show how gorillas use their bodies with both purpose and feeling, to express both thoughts and emotions.

Whether they are reaching for food or greeting a familiar friend, gorillas move with intention, control, and energy.

Thank you for being part of our interspecies journey โ€” your participation helps us better understand gorillas with care, respect, and curiosity, and thus helps us provide a sustainable future for both them and us!
