The Koko Signs app is now available for free worldwide!
This Earth Day, to recognize the efforts of conservationists around the world, we would like to share video footage provided to us by a group of university students in Cameroon, Africa who began using the Koko Signs app, and then shared it with the local community who live in close proximity to gorillas.
The Koko Signs app is the culmination of many years of work and to see it being used in gorilla habitat countries is incredibly inspirational for me and our team.
The people in the forest community marveled at Koko’s abilities and one in particular said (paraphrasing):
“Anyone who uses or sees the Koko Signs app will not want to hunt or kill gorillas anymore because they are just like us.” Watch the following video:
