Koko as The Voice of Nature

Koko was invited to present a video PSA at the 2015 Paris Climate Conference.  After discussing climate change with her and showing her a distressing article about it in National Geographic, we asked her to comment in sign language, and after a number of takes recorded the above video.  Koko’s natural state is “love” and she deeply cares about other living beings.  Thus when she “speaks” it is as if Nature itself has been given a voice.  We hope Koko’s “Voice of Nature” inspires you to join in with your own voice, to help us create a sustainable future for the great apes — and Nature — while there’s still time.
