New BBC Documentary Airs on June 15

Dear Friend,

As a supporter of the Gorilla Foundation and a friend of Koko, We are delighted to share with you the news that a new BBC documentary on Koko will air on BBC1 at 8pm on Wednesday June 15th. Here's a preview:

Especially in light of the tragic events at the Cincinnati Zoo where a male silverback was shot when a child fell into the enclosure, it is even more important to spread our message of "Conservation through Communication" and our hope that one day soon we will be able to create a Sanctuary for Gorillas in which these gentle giants can live in a peaceful and protected environment.

If you are interested in helping us create this Sanctuary and in supporting our work with gorillas, please visit our website and donate to the Gorilla Foundation.

Thank you!

Penny Patterson, Ph.D., President
and Koko ("Fine Person Gorilla")
