Dear Friend of Koko,
The response to our World Gorilla Day video about creating the new Koko App was so positive that I wanted to make sure everyone had a chance to see the video.
While Koko left us (physically) in 2018, she continues to inspire us, and her legacy of conservation through communication and empathy will live on through our new Koko App, which will embody all of her signs, her stories, her personality (as well as Michael's and Ndume's) and our knowledge about gorillas. It will provide tools to save her species and ultimately Nature!
Please watch the following video to get a sense of how the Koko App works, how it will help gorillas, people and Nature, and how you can help make it happen:

As described in the above video, the Koko App will benefit:
1) Great Apes (communication fosters empathy & action)
2) Kids (inspires kids to "talk with" (and help) animals )
3) Families (parents and kids can learn sign language together)
4) Teachers (teachers find that our materials keep kids motivated)
5) Zoos and Visitors (learn gorilla gestures to improve their care)
6) The Deaf Community (Koko's sign language is mostly ASL)
7) Nature (interspecies communication connects us to Nature)
Your financial support for the Koko App will make it possible for Koko to improve life for all of these stakeholders, and continue to have a powerful impact on gorilla conservation, care, and preservation of the natural world.
Please donate today!

Thank you for your support!
