Dear Friend,
Thanks to your partnership this year, we've been able to make great progress on Kids4Koko, our new web platform to transmit Koko's legacy of Conservation through Communication throughout the world at a time when it's needed most — for the benefit of all great apes, humans and Nature! Our kids are depending on us!
Please watch the above video for Koko's Earth Day message, and read more below on how to extend Koko's Legacy to restore our planet (and get a free Koko Co-Exist Face Mask).
With your support, here are some of the things we're doing to empower kids ...
Koko Teaches Sign Phrases to Kids4Koko

In addition to looking up Koko's signs and sending them to your friends, one at a time, you'll now be able to look up entire phrases and watch Koko sign some of her favorites. Learning sign language with Koko as the teacher is not only fun, it opens up new possibilities for interspecies communication worldwide.
New Interactive Koko & Michael eBooks

We now have 4 ebooks on Kids4Koko:
— Koko's Kitten — Michael's Dream
— A Wish for Koko — The Education of Koko
and a 5th ebook, Koko's Story, about Koko's early upbringing, coming soon. These books have ongoing discussion sections with interactive links to relevant signs and videos that make the stories come alive, and increase both their educational value and their conservation impact.
Kids4Koko Speak to the World

We're adding several new Blog sections to Kids4Koko, including:
1) Meet Kids4Koko, 2) Koko's Voices of Nature, 3) Penny's Podium, and 4) (YourName)4Koko — where kids who are pursuing conservation as a passion can become influencers on Kids4Koko and present their own content regularly to generate advocacy and new ideas.
KOKO IS HERE FOR GOOD!

The Koko Archive and Koko App projects represent Koko's long-term evolution from student to teacher, where her legacy is finally established firmly in the minds of humans and the heart of Nature.
The Koko Archive will make 5 decades of interspecies communication multimedia research data available digitally (and searchable) for anyone who wants to learn, collaborate or build upon.
And the Koko App will deliver that content — the same content that's currently on Kids4Koko, updated regularly with newly digitized content from the Archive — directly to anyone in the world who has a cell phone.
We have a plan to ensure that Koko's Legacy reaches future generations, to protect and continue communicating with great apes and to preserve our shared natural environment.
We need your help to get there:

Thank you for donating today and responding to Koko's powerful and loving Voice for Nature!
Sincerely,

Penny Patterson, Ph.D.
President & Dir. of Research, The Gorilla Foundation / Koko.org
