Koko looks at a National Geographic photo of the famous albino gorilla, Snowflake, who lived at the Barcelona Zoo, and recently passed away.

Koko has known about Snowflake since they were both youngsters, and even had a poster of him in her room. Just before Snowflake passed away, we were discussing the possiblity of setting up a videoconference between Koko and Snowflake to enable them to finally "meet." It would have been a great moment - the 2 most famous gorillas in the world saying hello across the continents. Koko will always remember and admire Snowflake.
