Koko reviews some of her recent gifts, and seems to be taking a special interest in her Madeline doll. Is she looking for the appendix scar that identifies “real” Madeline dolls? Some of you may recall that Koko used a Madeline doll to indicate where “she” needed an operation before her gum surgery (see KokoPix 8/14/2004).
What some of you may not know (but may be wondering) is that Koko”s memory is extremely accurate, often better than her human caregivers. KokoPix is just one of the many tools we use to augment our only too human brains. Perhaps Koko”s brain is less burdened with noisy thought processes (?)
