Happy 41st Birthday Ndume!
Ndume came to live with us at the Gorilla Foundation when he was just 10 years old.
Koko gave him a name sign, inspired by one of his common expressions, and they were companions for the rest of her life.
We miss seeing Ndume every day and are sending birthday wishes and love to him at the Cincinnati Zoo.
