The gorillas have several plastic yard toys in their habitat. Some days Koko will sit in or behind the larger ones for privacy. Ndume will display with the toys by dragging them across the yard then throwing them – most often at the mesh. In this photo, Koko is using the base of a multiple-part toy to sit on.
