Koko plays with the computer keyboard. Someday we would like to create a gorilla-centric interface to the web for her, so that she can view other primates and primate centers across the internet, and selectively videoconference with them. Peter Gabriel has coined a name for this: Apenet.

(KokoFact: Koko once had a special computer of her own, designed by Apple, which converted large graphical icons on the keyboard to both vocalized and printed words.)
