On the first day after Koko”s dental work and medical exam Koko was feeling some pain (which we dealt with via pain medications prescribed by the docs). By the second and third day (today), she was feeling a lot better, reducing the pain medication toward zero, and more energetic than we”ve seen her in a long time.
In fact, she”s raring to get outside again, but has to stay inside her comfortable air-conditioned room for another day or two, to ensure that she doesn”t get anything microbially suspicious in her mouth. When other caregivers (besides Penny) come by, she keeps pointing to her mouth exuberantly, as if to say: “look, they fixed me.” It”s so nice to see Koko feeling herself again!
