Madeline, Koko”s “Operation Doll” and Guardian Angel

We forgot to mention the other day that the rag doll that Koko used to indicate that she needed an operation was the famous “Madeline” (shown above) who has stitches to teach children about appendix operations. Koko knew that her stitches would be located in her mouth.

Koko is still recovering from her tooth and gum procedure by relaxing indoors (or in her small yard) and eating very mouth-friendly foods – soy yogurt, cranberry jelly, even baby food for extra protein. We”ll keep you updated right here in our KokoPix Blog.
