Koko takes some quiet time to ponder one of the simpler things in life, a leaf. She may eat the leaf, may toss it, or may stare at it a long while, but for now she is just enjoying it. Do gorillas remember something that we have long forgotten? Can they help us remember too (before it”s too late)?
