Sometimes Koko likes to review the video footage that Penny and Ron (Drs. Patterson and Cohn) take of her as part of the ongoing research study known as Project Koko. Here Koko seems particularly enthralled with a closeup of herself. Wonder what she”s thinking. Because Koko knows sign language, Penny and Ron could actually ask her what she”s thinking, but they don”t always think to do so at the moment (that”s why we take so many photos and videos – for retrospective analysis and to plan future studies).
