Koko likes to climb up to her high platform in the outdoor yard and watch over everyone at The Gorilla Foundation, including her “birthday silverback” Ndume.
The Foundation is working on a modification to one of the adjacent sleeping quarters to convert it into a gorilla bungalow so that Koko and Ndume will be able to spend more quality time together during the coming winter months. Koko will probably still want to come up and sit here on her highest platform from time to time, just to clear her mind.
