How do we know what anyone is thinking? Communication is one way, and fortunately Koko”s knowledge of sign language enables us to learn more about what she”s thinking than we know about most gorillas. However, like most people, Koko isn”t always willing to tell. Sometimes she just prefers the privacy of her own thoughts.
